DELICIOUS RECIPE FOR VEGETABLE LIME & PEPPER SOUP
What an amazing way to start your day with this delicious, tasty and healthy soup.
We will need the following ingredients;
-Crushed pepper cons .....3 table spoons
-Beans sprouts ................ just a little
-Mushrooms .................. 6 sliced
-Lime juice ..................half the lime
-Green pepper..................1 cubed
-Carrots ...........................cut in cubes
-Cabbage Shredded..........a handful
-Chickpea flour ............ 1 table spoon
-Salt.................................. to taste
-Vegetable stock (spice)...1 or 2 stocks
-Water............................... enough to steam and make soup
-Virgin oil.........................2 table spoons
Procedure:
Heat 1 spoon of oil in a pan and add chickpea flour mix well,
In a different pan add bit of oil then add mushrooms, green pepper, shredded cabbage and carrots cook for a while then add some water and vegetable stock, add to the top the crushed pepper cons, bean sprouts and the chick pea mixture you had initially. Add salt to taste. Cover for 2 minutes and your soup is ready.
You can also add garlic and ginger paste before putting mushrooms,
One can also add chicken pieces, prawns or fish, or beef slices if you are not a vegetarian.
N/B One can make as much as they wish for and add other spices as well. You can also add ingredients to the quantities you like.
The time for making the soup is 5 mins please do not overcook the vegetables.
